Prada Extends focuses its mission on local artists consisting of four DJs and four visual artists to create physical intersections in which people, ideas, and aesthetics connect. The project aims to unite “a diverse selection of emerging talent, celebrating the creative cultures of the selected city.”
Richie himself proposed the name “Extend” as he said: “I like the name EXTEND. Prada extending outwards, connecting to people and being a catalyst to bring communities and creatives together, interconnecting the like-minded. I can imagine that each event focuses in on a local scene, the details within it, and pushes it outwards further than originally imagined.”
